Obituary of Peter A. Danzo, Jr.

Peter A. Danzo, Jr., 84, of Pompton Plains, NJ passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021. He was born in Jersey City, NJ and lived in Cedar Grove, NJ before moving to Pompton Plains in 2019.  He was a Field Service Engineer with Beckman Instruments in Somerset, NJ for 30 years and retired in 2005.  He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS The Sullivans from 1955-1959.  He was a member of the National Rifle Association, The Cherry Ridge Gun Club, The Tin Can Sailors, National Association of Destroyer Veterans amd the Civil Air Patrol.  He also was an avid hunter.  Beloved husband of Emelia Danzo (nee Morgese)   Devoted father of Glenn Danzo and the late Steven Danzo.  Loving grandfather of Cole Danzo.  Dear brother of Aldo Danzo.  Funeral from Keri Memorial Funeral Home 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ on Thursday at 11 AM.  Funeral Liturgy at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 216 Comly Road, Lincoln Park at 11:30 AM.  Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.  Visiting on Thursday from 9- 11 AM.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimers Association .
